The test could be something simple like

  • deploy a sample app
  • set a snapshot (aka a breakpoint) via the API or gcloud
  • exercise the breakpoint
  • verify that the breakpoint has been hit

Not without some additional changes to the test framework in the runtimes_common repo. That code is what drives the test cases, so we'd need to add one to test the debugger.
