Run scripts backend?

I'm trying to create a shortcut using the "Shortcuts App" on Mac. The available scripting allowed is Apple Script or Javascript, Think there are some others I don't think can apply here.

Essentially what I want to do is set up a script that will take input from the shortcuts app and send the google command via the backend of the app using a JS script. Is this possible? Is there a function i can call to do this whilst the app is open?

I've added an example of what I'm trying to achieve, but I know it's wrong. I'm new to JS full stack stuff so not sure where to start. Can attempt the script but any advice is welcomed.

Really i want to know if its possible and if it is, id appreciate any assistance!
