When you import images as costumes, many of them have backgrounds.

They are possible to remove using tools such as https://remove.bg but can be a bit of a hassle.

Using the paint bucket tool to erase a background is often very inaccurate, and leaves small areas out with the slightest colour difference.

However, with this feature, scratchers will be able to remove backgrounds with a click of a button.
