How to handle JSON Lines (JSONL) response?

Is there a way to handle a JSON Lines (JSONL) response? This response contains multiple JSON objects, one per line and in its entirety is not a valid JSON object/array.
Example:

{"id": 1, "timestamp": 1632940826824, "foo" : "bar"}
{"id": 2, "timestamp": 1632940826825, "foo" : "baz"}
{"id": 3, "timestamp": 1632940826826, "foo" : "buz"}

It appears the default behavior is that only the first JSON object is parsed into a record.

Just wondering if it makes sense to create a new ResponseParser or RecordResponseParser for JSONL, that does something like:

String body = response.getBody();
String[] lines = body.split("\n");
for (String line : lines) {
// parse line into record....
}
