NX-586E interface to NX-8v2

Hello to all, is there anyone who can confirm if external interface NX-586E (connected via serial to TCP converter) could be used instead of intended NX-584?

Unfortunately no, the NX-586E doesn't support the automation protocol that this module uses to interface with the panel.

As of this posting, an NX-584 is available on ebay, for not too bad of a price considering they don't make these things anymore:

This would most definitely work with the pynx584 module.
