Animation on page stops during transition to the next page

Hi,

I am using ionic, ionic-material) and testing on Android. 5.0/Galaxy S7.

The ionic material runs an "ink" js animation on the button when it is pressed, but at the time when transition kicks in, the animation on the button freezes. Is there a way to keep those animations in the view running during transition?
