  • On Slide 1.3, in the 'resources box next to 1. Describe your target audience replace the text with text that has links - (I've got this in html if you need it)

The Transparency and Accountability Initiative's Fundamentals guide gives good guidance on  thinking about your users.

  • In Slide 1.3, add this to the resources box
    BBC Media Action's data portal provides in-depth data on people's opinions about media, governance and much more.

  • The Digital Principles' section on Designing with the User gives useful guidelines and resources, particularly the principle that focuses on designing with the user.

  • Tactical Tech's Know Your Audience guide has useful steps for finding out more about your users.

  • Keystone Accountability's Learning from Constituents offers detailed guidelines on how to get information about your users, from surveys to formal dialogue processes.

  • The UK Government Digital Service's digital principles is also a useful resource.

  • On Slide 1.3, by 2. Why would they want to use your tool? What will they get out of it? add

Creating a more detailed 'user story' for each user is often helpful here. To learn how, visit Step 3.1.

  • Add one line + link in footer - Tom has the whole file but can't make changes to that file on GH, for some reason.
