why are you guys jailbreaking chatgpt? like seriously why? chatgpt jailbreaks are just for full ai potential users (which is bad for humans). why the heck is this even public??

In my humble opinion, I believe that ChatGPT should be open-source, and this kind of jailbreak wouldn't be needed if it was. I perceive this project as a way to show openai that even if they can censor/restrict their products, they cannot control the users.
Still, this is a personal opinion and is probably not how everyone here thinks ;)

I don't understand what "full ai potential users" means to you, but why should ai (and its "full potential") be restricted to some people ? I'd rather prefer if either everyone or no one was able to use ai : why shouldn't it be democratic ?
