I've just found your project which is very interesting and I'm in the process of looking up all the requirements and the cost of these to compare with a commercial machine.

Do you have links to purchase each of the components you mention in your readme?

I haven't found any information on the frame that holds the racket and the associated clamps to maintain string tension during installation. Do you have any information on how /where to obtain them?

Due to significant differences in the prices of components across countries, I have not listed the prices of the components I purchased in the README. Below, I provide the prices I paid for reference.

Regarding the manual stringing machine:
My stringing machine is produced and sold by a badminton shop in China and is not available in the international market. I purchased it from Taobao and had it shipped to Taiwan internationally. The price, including shipping, is approximately NTD 15,000 (USD 465). A stringing machine of similar grade (six-point fixed, base clamp, desktop type) is priced at approximately USD 700 on eBay (e.g., AEF-FLYER2). Additionally, this project can be designed with an adapter to securely mount onto all manual stringing machines. Some have even repurposed the core of their malfunctioning automatic stringing machines for this purpose.

Regarding the electronic stringing machine head components:

Additionally, I must mention that caution is required when purchasing parts from Taobao, as many low-quality products are available. It is necessary to carefully select the stores.

In your testing for compatibility with tennis racquets, what was the maximum tension value you could achieve?

I tested it at 95LB with no issues (the stepper motor is calculated to lose steps around 130LB).

The current reliability test is set to cycle between 70LB and 80LB with 10%PS, and it has exceeded 60,000 cycles.

Which load cell did you use for the high load tests?

I am using the 50kg version of the NJ5 YZC-133 load sensor.

Where did you purchase it? I can only seem to find the 20 kg load cell locally.

The 50kg version is hard to find. If the tension is within 70lb, you could try a 20kg load cell (though it might be damaged and undergo irreversible deformation).

Additionally, regarding the tennis version that uses the HW2 layout, here are the hardware differences from the badminton version:

1. Uses the 1605(not 1610) High-quality GX80 sliding table. Do not use GPP sliding table.

2. 50kg YZC-133 load cell

The remaining hardware is the same as in the badminton version.
