Manager script for long term simulations

Hi,
I have run some long-term simulations and the problem that I run into is that while using fixed dates for sowing and tillage one whole year can have a gap in harvest. For example, when harvest happen after the fixed date given for tillage. And although there must be a first date for the first sowing and tillage operations I was wondering if the subsequent tillage operations could be implemented as days after harvest (EndCrop), and the sowing could also be implemented as days after harvest (EndCrop) so I can fix it to happen right after the last tillage operation?

Yes you can tie one action to another. One way would be to combine several Managers into one with a number of days from one action to the next.

Combining multiple managers at one, would be same as creating an entire new manager module (I think). Good to know it can be done, but it is way more complex than I can handle given my limited understanding of the programming in APSIM.
If possible, I would like an example of how to modify the sowing script to have the first date of sowing, but the subsequent sowing events to "days after EndCrop". With that I can try to do the same with tillage.

Hi,
I tried to get to a script where the very first tillage operation happen at a fixed, and go through all cycle of operation if they are set to ==1. Then after an actual harvest it should restart based on the number of days AfterEndCrop. The problem is that the first operation is not happening after EndCrop, just the second (if selected). Can someone help?

@daSilva5 Sorry, I'm not very familiar with the specific implementation details. I usually just set a fixed planting time each year and reset the soil components to their initial state.
