I have an idea that I believe could be a valuable addition to our platform, and I wanted to gather some feedback and suggestions from our community.

Proposal

The concept is to create a news feed specifically tailored for our organizations, where members can take on a role similar to a reporter. They could contribute by posting news articles or videos, which could range from local to national or even global topics.

Community Involvement

What differentiates this news feed from others is the active involvement of our community. Members can vote on these articles based on various criteria such as the informativeness of the article, how well it represents all sides of the story, its relevance, and more. The voting system can help surface the best and most balanced content, ensuring the most valuable information is easily accessible and highly visible.

Elevating Authors

By allowing the community to vote on the articles, we can also identify and highlight our top contributors. This will help to encourage more members to share informative content and reward those who consistently contribute high-quality, balanced news stories. It could also foster a healthy sense of competition, which would further elevate the quality of the content shared.

I believe that this idea could significantly enhance the engagement and interaction within our community, while also ensuring that we are all well-informed with accurate, balanced, and high-quality news.
