Dear all,
after a few weeks of silence and apparent inactivity, many things have happened simultaneously.
The app is now available for Linux Desktop machines. You can download the program from flathub.org and snapcraft.io, but you might also find the app in the software management application on your computer. The desktop version of the app is not really useful for navigation (unless you want to fly with your laptop), but the big screen might help to plan your next flight. The store entries still need a little bit of polishing, but the hard functionality is all there and seems to be working.
Adrien Crovato has implemented METAR/TAF access. To try it out, go to the menu and look for the cloud symbol. The GUI is still a little rough, but the functionality is all there, and seems to be working really well. Thank you!
Heiner Tholen has improved the map display. In flight, the aircraft symbol is moved to the bottom of the screen, so that a larger portion of the intended flight route is visible on the screen.
As usual, I would be grateful for any feedback that you might have.
Best,
Stefan.
