Is there any current plans to implement the MPRIS API. This is a standard Linux API which allows other apps to interface with media players (ie. pausing and skipping music), as well as being used in several apps and desktop environments to display what music you're currently listening to. There are also applications that implement Discord RPC using MPRIS.
If there are no current or future plans to implement MPRIS, would it be worth submitting a pull request with basic support?
