When sending to Industrial Foregoing's machines (tested with its Black Hole Tank), it's always considered pushing to the north (-Z direction) face of it.
When sending to Thermal's machines (tested with its Fluid Cells), it's always considered pushing to the west (-X direction) face of it.
Edit: After more testing, it turns out that the router will always try to push to the direction relative to the router's facing. Namely, its back side. (E.g. if the router is facing west, then it'll try to push into the east side.)
