What's in this Release

This is a pre-release of v1.03 that provides support for Ampere ATF and SCP version 1.03.

  • Requires Ampere's Arm Trusted Firmware and SCP firmware version 1.03
  • Support new SPI NOR layout as required by firmware version 1.03 and later
  • Define a GUID for LinuxBoot usage
  • Some bug fixes

What's in this Release

  • Requires Ampere's Arm Trusted Firmware and SCP firmware version 1.02a
  • Based on EDK2 at tag edk2-stable202011
  • Removed LinuxBoot binary image
  • Added menu option for CVE-2020-10255
  • Added menu option for DDR4 Fine Granularity Refresh rate
  • Enabled capability to specify payload image path during build time
  • Enabled host bridge ASPM with L0 and L1 support
  • Enabled the use of Ampere's Unique Device ID for each PCIe Host Bridge and ports
  • Changed "Turbo" to "Max Performance"
  • Added VariablePolicyLib
  • Implemented Flash Write function via Secure MM Communication interface. Also changed OEM SMC calls to using MM calls.
  • Updated PCIe PhyLib with toolchain-independent binary
  • Combined Ampere CPU libraries
  • Changed MmCommunicationPeiLib to MmCommunicationLib

This is the first release of Ampere's edk2-platforms supporting Ampere Mt. Jade hardware platform.

Requires Ampere's Arm Trusted Firmware and SCP firmware version 1.01
