UVR crashes my pc using GPU

I have an RTX-3060 GPU w/12GB , 10th gen mobo and 11700K cpu.
Every time I try to use the GPU with UVR, the pc crashes. Actually I get logged out, have to log back in, then the pc shuts down.
I'm using latest Game Ready drivers, although I've tried the Studio drivers as well.
Less often, it crashes sometimes using the cpu with same symptoms as above.
I've not been able to find anything in the Windows 11 Event Viewer that seems to be related.
Ideas welcome.
