Is it possible to restrict the right or left stick to ONLY recognize inputs that are up and down (excluding left/right)

As the title says, is it possible to restrict the right or left stick to ONLY recognize inputs that are up and down (excluding left/right). I know Xpadder can do this, by modifying the stick, so everything from a stick is effectively registered as either up or down, but NOT left or right. Maybe it would be better worded to state that I'd like to register all inputs, but make them either all only up or down, not exclude any inputs that are left or right on the stick.

It seems like it should be possible using the 4-way cardinal option, but then I can't change the diagonal size. Is there any way to achieve this using AntiMicroX?
