Currently once an article is read and the user swipes, the read article is removed from the swipe list, making it impossible to swipe back to it.
I propose that even read articles should remain in 'memory' until the user exits the article view. This would allow users to swipe back to previously read articles during the same reading session, enhancing navigation and user experience.

First of all I enjoy the new up/down swipe.
