A user reported an inconsistency in the behavior of the VideoPress block when used in a column layout. The user reported that:

  • When the VideoPress block is added to a column with a defined width (e.g., 50%), the video exceeds the column's width on mobile devices, breaking the layout.
  • The issue is specific to the VideoPress block; using the Media & Text block adjusts the height and width correctly based on the column settings.

Steps to Reproduce:

  1. Create a column layout with two columns.
  2. Add a VideoPress block to one of the columns and assign a specific width (e.g., 50%).
  3. View the page on a mobile device or in responsive mode.
  4. Observe that the video exceeds the column's width.
