Essentia interactions with vanilla MC ?

Hello there, hello Azenor !
I have a question concerning essentia. Right now, we can gather a lot of essentia, but it is not used for many things, apart from crafting Thaumcraft elements, and I wanted to know if there are any plans about making essentia useful towards MC's vanilla components. Like maybe a sort of furnace (Athanor ?) that could use essentia to craft any/some vanilla blocs/objects ?
I dream of a world where I could pipe my metallum essentia into some end-tier machine and make iron out of it...
Would this general idea seem acceptable ? Already planned maybe ? If not, would you allow the creation of a side-mod which general goal's would be adding uses to essentia ? (Im no coder myself, so I dont know what would be needed from your code in order to build said mod ^^')
