Make golems able to press buttons and flip levers, and maybe report their status

Seeing the Boston Dynamics robot Spot handle tasks such as taking pictures of valves and interest points along an inspection path left me wondering- could golems push buttons and switch levers for me? I can't imagine the seal that would be necessary for this sort of thing, but I'd like to be able to tell golems what to do with redstone, as well as with the bell.

Telling the golem to do the thing should have them say something when they complete their task, since they likely won't be next to you when they do so.
