I am in a mixed environment where our K8s cluster are deployed both on Azure and on prem. Both cluster types have workloads that consume Azure services, and we're using classique ServicePrincipal AuthN so far.
We intend to switch to Workload Identity at some point, but it is unclear to me when I read the doc, if the cluster itself has to be runing within Azure to allow Workload Identity to work ?
