Please, help me to understand if Microsoft Identity Web is for me or not. I didn't use it yet, even I see potential here. I am building an app based on microservices architecture which is currently working in a very isolated environment, On-Premises, in a local network without Internet access, and no local ADFS also. There are a few security concerns why it is requested like this. Still, there will be time when migration to the cloud will be approved, and we will be able to use AAD B2C as our Identity Server. I understand that in that moment Microsoft Identity Web is perfect solution, but in a meantime I have to ensure that everything is working fine without AAD B2C. Can I make it work somehow? Can I use some other Identity Server, like IdentityServer4 in a local environment in combination with Microsoft Identity Web? Will Microsoft Identity Web work with IdentityServer4 just because it supports OIDC and OAuth2 protocols, the same as AAD B2C? Can I make it in such a way that it is only configuration change during migration? Thanks in advance! |

So, I just found answer in one external video ( https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4Q5Dt_zsUbU ) from September 2020. This library only supports AAD B2C and cannot be used in combination with other Identity Servers. Also, there are no plans for any such extension. Probably there are no news here. |
