The Telegram person mentioned in #16#issuecomment-2423838075 uses Halium and may need it specifically compared to mainline.

Let us try to run Halium by setting /var/lib/waydroid/waydroid.cfg:

as:

do not exist.

On Debian 12 GNOME Debian (trust) Virtual Machine Manager virtual machine on Debian 12 GNOME Pegasus default official Waydroid build works out of the box, so now sudo waydroid init -f to see if it downloads Halium vendor type. It downloads mainline, see #47#issuecomment-2424207024. /var/lib/waydroid/waydroid.cfg is automatically reverted to mainline.
