⭐⭐ Updates ⭐⭐

  • 📅 Wednesday 20 July @ 11 am: we don't have any cars, so we will stick to plan B and go by bus. This means that we will do an easier hike before and after the bungee jumping (let's hope the buses work as they have scheduled!)

Hello GAC friends, I am excited to be back in Grenoble for a week. I would be glad to meet you either during this adventure, after the event over a pizza/drink, or another day.

First of all, you can skip doing the bungee jumping and just join us for the hike and see us jump 😃

📜 What's the plan? 📜 07:30 - 08:00 am Meet at parking "Esplanade du Souvenir Français" near Parc Paul Mistral:

08:00 am leave the Parking ~ 09:00 am Drive to La Mure, and park the car(s) in Parking de la Gare

Start the hike:

  • 🔵 Medium for good hikers

  • 🔴 Hard for noobs

  • Distance: 19km

  • Time: ~5-6 h of hike

  • D+: 980m

We should start descending at most by 12:30 pm to be on time for the jump.

???📜??? Plan B: If we did not have enough cars, we will go to La Mure by bus T90/T91, visit the Le Petit Train de la Mure and do an easier hike:

07:55 am: We take the bus T91 from gare routiere: https://www.itinisere.fr/ftp/documents_CG38/fh-t90-t91-2021-2022-8-juill-au-15-aout.pdf 09:10 am : get off the bus at LA MURE CIMON and visit Le Petit Train de la Mure

09:30 am: start the hike Topo & GPX track of plan B: https://tinyurl.com/3zprz59e 11.8km will take 2h 56 min Elevation change: ↗376m ↘704m

01:00 pm: reach the bridge and do the registration and payment 02:00 pm: start jumping 03:00 pm: leave the jumping site to hike back to La Mure 05:17 pm: take the bus T90 at LA MURE CIMON station and return back to Grenoble 06:20 pm: reach Grenoble and maybe have a pizza/drink together

🦘🌉 Bungee jumping 🦘🌉 Book your ticket using this link: https://www.vertige38.com/reservation-de-saut-en-elastique-du-pont-de-ponsonnas/ Choose 24 July, then 16:00 or 16:30 (every 30 minutes 6 people can do it). It depends on you which choice you prefer. Consider that we can record each other while jumping, so ordering the video may not be the best choice. ⚠️ Attention: save the ticket and proof of payment and have them with yourself.

  • 🥾 Hiking shoes (or any good/non slippery shoes)
  • Hiking pole (if you want)
  • 🧃 Water (mini 2/3L) + 🍫 Some snack + 🥗 food for lunch
  • 🌞 Sun-cream / 😎 Sun glasses
  • 📝 Registration form and proof of payment.
  • 😁 Your smile / 😊 Happiness
  • 😷 Your mask as always (avoid contact and so on)
  • 💵 Money for car share (exact change in cash)

🦅/🐓 : we speak English/French in all our events. Don't worry if your English/French is not that good. Nos évènements sont en Anglais et Français. Ne soyez pas inquiets si votre niveau d'anglais n'est pas "suffisant".

Car share will cost 10€ per person (fuel + (toll) + "compensation" to get more drivers). 😷 You have to wear a mask in car. Fuel is very expensive at this time...

💡 Rules 💡

  • 🚶‍♀️🚶‍♂️ The GAC group is about hiking 🥾 and why not making friends BUT NOT about flirting or speed dating ⛔
  • 😍 Hiking is about walking and enjoying nature
  • Don't throw any dump 🚮 in nature even fruit pelt: 🍌(2 years for decomposition), 🍊 (6 months); egg shell 🥚 (3 years)
  • Subscribe on the waiting list. Maybe more cars will be available 🚗
  • Don't be (too) late 😇 We won't wait for you at morning, especially if you don't send any message.
  • Since seats in car(s) are "rare", please do not subscribe if you are not sure to join the event
  • If you finally can't join us, please unsubscribe from the event or at least write a message here to announce your cancellation. 💜 That way, we won't wait for you 💜
  • If you are a driver and can't join, please send me a message through meetup ASAP, that way I can remove available seats 🚗
