We go in Ecrins for 2 single-day hike and enjoy the shooting stars during the night! Bring your tent or sleep in the $refuge.

Day 1

We ride our cars for ~2h and park near "Champoléon":

We do a "1 day hike" to a waterfall, only with picnic and water. Then go back to cars.

We ride cars and park closer to the refuge:

Second hike of 1h30 with our tents, food (dinner+breakfast) and stuffs for the night (except if you sleep/eat in the refuge). Bring cash $ to pay for drinks and other stuffs 🍺

Day 2

Breakfast near the refuge. We hike down to the cars and ride to Orcières :

Buy sandwich? Then loop hike to visit lakes with our picnic+water.

🎒 What to bring 🎒

Big backpack is not mandatory. We will only hike with our picnic during the days. For the night, you will carry your tent+food for 1h30 up to the refuge (or sleep in $ refuge)

For hikes

  • 🎒 Regular bag for picnic+water
  • 🥾 Hiking shoes + poles
  • 🩳🩱 swimsuit + towel
  • 🧃 Water 1 or 2L mini.
  • 🍫 Snack and 🥕 food for 4 meals:
  • Saturday lunch: picnic/sandwich (bought in Grenoble)
  • Saturday dinner: food to cook if you have cooking stove/gas (we can share) + Sunday breakfast
  • Sunday lunch: picnic/sandwich (we can buy at 2nd hike start)
  • 🍵 Ecocup/mug, fork, knife,...
  • ❄️ 10°C cold gears
  • 🌞 Sunscreen, 😎 Sunglasses

For the night

  • 💡 Headlamp ❗️MANDATORY
  • 💤 Sleeping bag ❗️MANDATORY 0°c bag is a must
  • Tent + pad + pillow
  • 🔥 Cooking stove + gas if you want to cook food
  • 👡 Flip-flop to walk in/around the refuge
  • 🥶 Warm clothes 10°c during the night
  • 🧻 Toilet paper, soap, toothbrush...
  • 💰 Cash to buy drinks at the refuge 🍺
