Feedback on Loan Management tools

• The date entry mask doesn’t work well. The data entry applet is not intuitive at all and entering a date manually is unnecessarily restrictive.
• The only date format option is “mm/dd/yyyy” (US American only). Quite a few international collections recently joined The Consortium of Lichen Herbaria and the US is the virtually the only country in the world using this format. Again perhaps not a huge deal, but if we want to serve an increasingly international community, this should be changed.
• Checking in specimens that were returned manually is not possible. ... Scanning in barcodes to check in specimens works. But manually entering the date (and hour:minutes:seconds) is actually not possible, the system returns an error:

Additional feedback from CHL user:

• Attached files get renamed by automatically appending "_loan_date" to the file name. My preference would be to simply be able to upload a file "as is", no renaming.
