Multiple suggestions and some that will help avoid errors/bugs to trigger

When downloading a model and you have the folder options used to create a separate folder per version. The extension does not consider the characters that windows cannot handle as a file or folder name with characters like
|. Maybe there are other characters that the extension does not handle, but I have yet to come across users using < > symbols in the name for example
Or if we have in the settings of the extension to allow users to enter characters themselves to replace it with another character that would be nice, but probably too difficult to implement.

When downloading model, Creators often put details per model version in section
"About this version"
Would be nice if this is added to the JSON file

In stable diffusion at least in older version like 1.7, pictures gets indexed and read. so the only way to tell SD not to read is to append .preview as suffix.
This extension does do that for the preview thumbnails, but it does not append ".preview" suffix for images that it saves if you enabled the option "Automatically save all images (Automatically saves all the images of a model after downloading)" in settings.
However I do not know whether SD still reads all images if lets say this extension saves all the images in another "image" sub-folder with .preview as suffix in the folder name. That would be for the best. But I just updated my SD to latest version so I cannot test this for you.

Upon using search method for users, if there is an indicator how many search results are found users will know whether whether the search filter are defined correctly or not.

A way to indicate whether a model has multiple model versions so that they know that they need to go through the versions.

A way to indicate that certain model contains multiple file so that users don't miss any possible additional file for example some model might include a yaml file or specific VAE or source of trained data.
An option in the setting to let users to download all files of a model or not would give the user more options.

It would be nice if the extension has the option to download all versions or an indication that the model has multiple version.

Additionally, maybe if there is an option to add certain model to ignore it can avoid users for keep trying to check the same model they might have tested before and stopped using it.
But this latter will cause the need of a database to keep track of this which could be a no go

Lastly suggestion:
Include published data in the JSON file.
An option to allow users to save the description, Lora information version information as a text file format instead of a json file.

Before I discovered civitai browser extension, I used to make a text file manually for each model I liked and where the information would be useful

Example of the text file format:

Title:				<Tile of model name>
Category:			<retrieved from cvitiai, I copy and paste all category and separate each with a tab instead of using space, because some category names got a space itself>
User:				<link to user>
Original filename:		<original filename, in case it got a filename that makes it hard to understand what it is I rename the file. But would need to document the original filename somewhere>
Version name:		<version name copied from the site, normally i leave this empty unless there are multiple version>

Type		<LoRA, Checkpoint Merge, Trained checkpoint etc, just copying from civitai site>
Published date	<date published, just copying from civitai site>
Base Model	<base model, just copying from civitai site>
Training	<sometimes some models include the number of steps used to train and CLIP etc>

<Sometimes a model gets uploaded with specific information for the version, because they have too many versions uploaded it makes more sense to creators to put version specific information there rather on the generic description of the page.>

<I even copy paste everything to a word file instead of a text file and save the pictures additionally as well. But this is just me, so I dont think anyone else would be bothered doing this.>
