Hi, @PaulSpence . I saw that the SACCF and ASC are open issues in this project.
I wrote a code to track the isotherm and SSH contours that follow the PF and sSAF in ACCESS-OM2.
If you consider it helps, I am happy to run this code for the SACCF and ASC latitude bands to see if it returns any recurrent isotherm or SSH contour in the model.

If it's relevant perhaps rename the title so that it doesn't seem only related to the hackathon?
