I would like to study how the system response improves with the implementation of reactive compensation. In particular, evaluate weak networks, with low short circuit levels, and see how it improves voltage regulation using STATCOM or synchronous condensers. Do you know if the existing shunt compensation models work or do you have any idea how to implement this in a simple way?

Hello everyone,
I would like to study how the system response improves with the implementation of reactive compensation. In particular, evaluate weak networks, with low short circuit levels, and see how it improves voltage regulation using STATCOM or synchronous condensers. Do you know if the existing shunt compensation models work or do you have any idea how to implement this in a simple way?
Hope to hear from you!
Regards,
Amparo
