Hello! First let me thank you for this great tool! Really appreciate all that you've put in to it!

I'm the developer of the TeensyROM project and one of its features is the ability to pass along ASID data to a real C64. It works great, but a user identified a few SID files that don't seem to play back correctly.

The main one I've been reproducing the issue with is Miami Vice by Martin Galway (though there are others as well). When I try to send via ASID, nothing is output. I can verify that by looking at the Memo Visual view. To further prove it out, I downloaded the file and play it back via asidxp.exe and that does stream/play correctly. This confirms the problem is apparently in the DeepSID player.
Please let me know if you need any additional information. Thank you again!

Hi! Sorry for not noticing this issue until now. Yes, it is true that some files will not be possible to play over ASID in DeepSID. Reason is that the ASID functionality is extending on Hermit's emulator - which in itself is unable to play certain files that might use custom timing (or Digis, which anyway would be too slow for MIDI). One test can be to try the songs you want by using Hermit's emulator in the dropdown. If it plays back there, it should also work in ASID.
There are various ways of improving the ASID playback by not being dependant on the Hermit emulator, but it would require some considerable effort so not planned at the moment.
Having said that, it is always nice to have some test files for possible future updates! Could you provide some other songs that work in AsidXp but not in DeepSID?
