This script is to help our project leads manages their break out rooms while providing report out artifacts for the rest of the brigade.
It's also our hope that these discussions and issues will serve as a history of the project that future collaborators can use to get up to date with the effort
Script
Ask if everybody has a GitHub account.
Help those that don’t to create one if they are willing
Create a GitHub Discussion for notes
Somebody needs to volunteer to take notes
At first the project lead might need to share their screen and show how to use this feature
During the working session team members should be able to add notes to the discussion
The discussion will be the night’s output artifact (team report out)
Create GitHub issues from action items that come out of the discussion
This is how the team will know what to work on during the async time before our next hack night
We are proposing using GitHub Discussions as a common tools but if it's simpler for the team to use another medium they can. What ever the other medium is, it needs to be accessible to the rest of the brigade and general public. A link to the artifact should be placed in a GitHub Discussion for future reference as the repo should be the single source of truth for an effort.
