A software developer who can code independently using JQuery to build complex applications in the browser.

Master the following skills:

Explain the utility of the jQuery object ("$")
Selection of DOM elements (CSS, ID, Name, etc)
Work with collections of elements
Listening for and reacting to events on DOM elements
Creating/appending/prepending DOM elements
Modifying existing DOM elements (attributes, content)
Removing DOM elements
Perform basic animations
Integrate 3rd party plugins to get functionality without having to create it
