Changing Ownership Permissions of Restart Command #5555
-
Hi, I was wondering if there is some way to edit the (restart) command to allow other users access to it. I understand that this is a command that is able to alter the bot and giving that control away could be dangerous but, the amount of users that have access to this bot for me is small and I know all of them personally. I find that my bot loses connection to lavalink late into the night which is when my friends are usually using it. I however am usually asleep so it would be nice if they could issue the (restart) command and get the bot back up and connected without my presence being necessary. Just wondering if its possible to change the owner permission check for this command to be a mod level command instead. Thanks for reading. |

Join our support Discord at discord.gg/red to talk about your Lavalink issue in the #support channel and perhaps find a solution, instead of restarting the bot. There is a way to add co-owners to the bot and let them have access to owner only commands, but it would be better to resolve the Lavalink issue instead of having a workaround. |
