Idea on utilizing the data generated for Tombolo Digital Connect in other tools/database

I am aware that the Digital Connector use PostgreSQL and PostGIS to handle data, and materialize the data.
It will be good to be able to use the materialized data with other tools. It would be even better if there may be options for different database systems the data can be stored, for example, instead of storing the data in PostgreSQL, data may be stored in MS SQL server or other databases.
But this is just an idea, it may need a lot of work to migrate the current system to other database platform.
