Support multiple audio & video

It would be nice to support multiple audio tracks since there are English/Italian/Spanish versions of some of the games. It would also be nice to be able to pick what video you want to play per game since there are 480p, 720p, 1080p and 4K versions of some of the game. So you could just pick or have it auto pick which resolution is best for your setup.

If you really wanted to combine everything in to one file you could switch to MKV since it supports multiple audio tracks and multiple video tracks. Then you could just let it pick which tracks to play without needing every combination of video and audio files as separate files.

This is a port of Daphne, so has some restrictions in what it is able to handle in video and audio formats.

i.e. The Virtual LaserDisc Player (VLDP) is a 16bit emulator, so can only handle up to 65535 frames of video.
This equates to about 45 mins of run time. This is why support for some of the newer Singe 2 titles, with longer video,
will not work correctly.

Without a complete rewrite of the Daphne game emulation code this will not change. This includes MKV support.

In regard to resolution, as of version 2.6.0 hypseus-singe will load the video at native resolution (up to 4k).
You can force aspect ratio and resizing via arguments: -scalefactor, -force_aspect_ratio and -x & -y.

Multiple audio tracks are also in fact supported with the -altaudio argument.

If I have multiple audio tracks in .ogg files, for instance:

You can add the -altaudio argument to highlight the suffix like so:

hypseus.bin tq vldp ... <other required args>... -altaudio -it

Hypseus will then use the audio files with the -it suffix.
