Setting up Daphne support #132

Maybe I'm missing it but been searching around. I have Hypseus Singe 2.11.2 setup and running Singe2 content. I am trying to get things working that are outside of that. So for example. If I want to get Dragon's Lair setup how do I do that since there isn't a Singe2 version? Tried a few things but figured better to ask for the steps. So if I have a lair.daphne folder with: lair.dat How am I supposed to structure this in Hypseus and how do I run this. This is on Windows for reference. Even if I create a lair.zip file of the above and put it in the roms folder still get errors like: [18900] [game::load_roms@753] ROM dl_f2_u1.bin couldn't be found in roms/lair/, or in ./roms/lair.zip Thoughts? |

The logs are telling you what is missing, you need the DL ROM for Daphne, called Daphne games use real arcade ROM images, unlike Singe, so you will need to locate those ROMS. From your description you seem to have the correct video files, although the If you have further issues, jump onto the Discord server, link on main repo page. Thanks was helpful and seems to be running now. One other one hopefully. If I am getting in another one ACE, "Could not initialize laserdisc player" what does that usually mean? Can provide more details if something doesn't scream out here. |

Need the full log to analyze, but in essence means the VLDP (Virtual Laser Disc Player) doesn't have the ability to begin playing the video content. This can be for a number of reasons, the logs will point you to the reason why, before that message appears, normally. |
