What were you trying to do before the issue occurred?

Trying to set up a private lobby with friends

What happened?

I invited them on discord but the Invite said Game Had Ended and they could not join through the discord invite.

What did you expect to happen?

The day before it was working properly and they could join off the invite.

How can the issue be reproduced?

Make sure discord doesn't think the game has ended when it hasn't.
Please be as descriptive as possible.

1.Invited friends through discord but the game displayed the invite as the game ended and the "Join" game button was not highlighted as green as it would if it was working.

2.We did find a way around this by telling them to join off me through the Server browser, but it takes a lot longer to do and sometimes the server can take a while to show up.

I think your issue has more to do with discord then Eldewrito. Make sure Discord recognizes that your friend is playing Eldewrito. (Look at his name and make sure it says "playing ElDewrito")

Is his install directory read only? (I.E. discord cant read or modify files to get invite info

Make sure friend didnt rename eldewrito.exe so discord knows your playing same game.

what happens if your friend host and invites you through discord?

p.s. Just spit-balling im not in any way a developer or saying I completely understand the coding.

HOW TO CREATE DISCORD GAME INVITES
ENABLE Discord Rich Presence in-game settings and click APPLY: https://imgur.com/QtMjNdW
Make sure Discord game status is enabled: https://imgur.com/GCUN565

If you are having trouble creating game invites, make sure your lobby has open slots and is set to "ONLINE".
This should work in-lobby and in-game if everything is setup correctly. This will not work if you are using Discord in a browser. Also, if you are running either the game or Discord as Admin, make sure both are running as Admin.
If there are still issues, try restarting Halo, Discord, and your PC 😃

GAME HAS ENDED ISSUE
If the game invites say game has ended when other users attempt to use your game invites, make sure your Discord account is not logged in/running on any other computers or devices (PC's, browser sessions, app, etc.).

Example of issue being corrected is below. Screenshots are from the perspective of myself (Zahti) viewing the Discord profile of PERSON 1.

PERSON 1 had Discord open on 2 computers.

• Laptop was in sleep-mode and had a different game open (i.e The Field of View!) and Discord open
• Desktop was being used for Halo and Discord was open

PERSON 1 was trying to use the Desktop to send game invites to Zahti.
