Hello,

Thank you very much for your work.
The conversion basically works well. The metadata relevant for us is there (Gps position, azimuth)

The *.HEIC images (portrait format) from the iPhone 15 pro are rotated 90 degrees clockwise after conversion to *.JPG on Windows 11.

I used jimpl.com to display the metadata and searched for Rotate.

The *.HEIC image has two metadata tags saved:

  • Orientation: Rotate 90 CW
  • Rotation: 270

In the converted *.JPG image there is only one tag:

  • Orientation: Rotate 90 CW

The two images are in the *.zip file
IMG_0004.zip
