Will this work on a CFD screen?

Hi all,

I was just wondering if this keyboard will work with a touch customer facing display. We have a couple android POS systems with touch screen cfd's, and different android os. They are on android 9, 10, and 11 but the only one the default android keyboard works properly on is in android 11 and it can work on 10, but you have to be in dev mode and set the device to open apps in desktop mode, then it will show the keyboard. On 9, it does not work at all. We spoke to the manufacturer of the pos systems and they told us it will not work on 9, and they suggested that we design our own keyboard so that it will work on all devices. I was just wondering if this keyboard will behave like the system android keyboard and will be limited by our manufacturer android versions.

The main purpose of this keyboard is so that when a customer checks out and wants an email receipt, when they click on the text field, it will pop up the keyboard on the CFD and they can enter their email.

Yes, fleksy works on the Android 9 too. We support from Android 6, so it should work as you expect.
