Hello! I downloaded your bot and installed it but I noticed some bugs in the code. I will be happy if you continue this project.

Hi there! Glad you liked it! Can you give me an example on the bugs so that I might look into them at some point? Also, feel free to fork the repo and do any bug fixes or changes if you're into tinkering code yourself. :-)

I did notice some occasional crashes when running the bot for longer periods, but some of them were so elusive I was unsure as to what were the causes -- they might've originated from the Python module for irc -- my "workaround" for any crashes was just to script the program inside a poller that auto-restarts the client whenever it goes boink.

hello, if the bot is in several channels and someone is asked a question in one of the channels, it answers in all of them. in my opinion, it is good to make him answer only where he is asked the question. the other bug is that when his answer is bigger than 512kb. the bot disconnects from irc.

I see. Hm, I never even thought of the option of having the bot on multiple channels (it was intended to be 1 bot per 1 channel, a.k.a. single-channel, single instance..). However, as a workaround, if your IRC network permits it, you could try launching one client separately per each intended channel -- although, keep in mind that many IRC networks are strict on how many clients per IP can connect to their network, and also be mindful of bot and other rules considering your particular IRC network.

Аnother bug I noticed is that the bot does not split its responses and when there is a long response it disconnects from the network
