Bad stringing going down when hot end moves out of the shot

Hi all,

So I'm super close to making everything work right with octolapse. However whenever I have octolapse move the hot end to the "left-side-middle" (see pic) for the picture to take, some real bad stringing goes down and it will eventually ruin the print. I've messed with a lot of retraction settings and watched a ton of youtube vids on this. I'm starting to wonder if someone else has run into this or if this is more of an octolapse issue than an E3 v2 issue. Help please!
