Posts vs Content:
A post can be editable, and is signed by you.

A piece of content is immutable. It can be copied and signed by someone else, also.

Your client can confirm if someone's content was posted before or after the content of others through looking for a publish record on a blockchain.

I like it, how is a post stored compared to content (which I assume gets a CID on IPFS)?

Ideally this would be done by IPNS or something similar to it. ipfs _embed supports pub/sub, so we technically do have the tools available, there. It doesn't come with IPNS support out of the box, though.
