Welcome!

We're so glad you're thinking about contributing to a U.S. Government open source project! If you're unsure about anything, just ask -- or submit the issue or pull request anyway. The worst that can happen is you'll be politely asked to change something. We love all friendly contributions.

How to contribute to this open source project

Before contributing, we encourage you to read our CONTRIBUTING policy (you are here), our LICENSE, and our README, all of which are at the root of this repository.

  • We want to ensure a welcoming environment for all of our projects. Our team follows this Code of Conduct and all contributors should do the same.
  • Report bugs and request features via Github Issues.
  • Email us your ideas on how to improve digital.gov. We're always open to suggestions.
  • Create a Github pull request with new functionality or bug fix.
  • Improve or create documentation.
  • Help us improve our tests.
