Any thoughts on using this with a typewriter effect?

Hello, thanks for sharing this. I edited the scripts and got it to work with GMS1, and want to send a merge request soon (if it's okay to do so).
I was wondering, how would you go to add a typewriter effect on top of this? I was thinking of saving the string size somewhere (without metadata), but I'm unsure of what do to with the instruction list. I suppose making a temporary list containing the partial strings is a bad idea, any thoughts?
