Clip audio+ Sampler mixed together

I have no idea how to use github, but I saw some other feature requests here. I love the clip audio feature. Being able to clip something that already happened without having to use shadowplay, amazing (plus its audio only).

Now what i was thinking... The sampler is also great, but the odds of me catching what i want to sample (someone saying something dumb) is rare. But if the sampler allowed me to clip, lets say, 5 seconds of audio. I could quickly clip it and then instantly play it back.

Maybe thats the feature, being able to instantly play back a "clip audio" recording...

Hey West, this sounds like a fantastic idea; I love the idea of a "Sampler Clip" combo action. At the moment, my focus is adding support for SD+ dials, but I'm adding this to the "future enhancements" list.

I made an account so I could ask about exactly this lol. I've been trying to figure out a way to do this but can't seem to find a better way. The clip audio feature is so close to perfect but can only record 15 seconds minimum. A 5-second option would be awesome.

Heya! I just looked in here for the first time in a while and wanted to know if any of these options (Custom Clip Duration and Clip with playback) are going to be made? At the very least could we get a "Play button" that properly goes down a file list so we could make a jank version of this now? Because I have gotten surprisingly close to making this with this and other plugins but nothing seems to wanna work right! And if you are able to make the og request a reality could you also make it so that when you want to save a new clip you don't erase the old one or make it make a copy I can use later? Thanks!
