From Genemania -> Local search -> install data -> import when you specify a soft file downloaded from here:
ftp://ftp.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/geo/series/GSE5nnn/GSE5850/soft/

get the following error:

Also get an error when using Network Importer from the commandline
