[Bug report] Changing Site Name in Site Settings does not seem to work. #1661

Well Crap! I got to thinkin that maybe the weird problem with saving the site had to do with that particular site having a Page set as its homepage. It seemed like a longshot, but I thought I had better check it out. So I backed all my sites (I learn slowly, but I do learn), created a new site and set a page as the homepage. For good measure I redirected the posts page too and added a couple posts. This time I backed up the site before changing its name (that was a little bit of work after all). Then I changed the name of the site. It worked perfectly. No bugs, not weird save buttons. No error messages. I am scratching my head. Clearly this bug report might be a fluke that is not repeatable. If you (Publii team) find that to be the case feel free to close this issue. Thanks |

Bug description
I was working with a site for a while when I decided to change its name. I gave the site a new name in Site Settings and clicked save settings. The save buttons went gray and never came back.
Previewing the site from the button on the bottom of the main menu gave me the error: Rendering process crashed
core.rendering.renderingProcessCrashedMsg
I went back to the sites list, changed sites and returned to the offending site. The name was not changed in the Site Settings.
Trying to reproduce the error for this report I ended up with this error message when changing names. The steps to reproduce refer this this error message:
Note: The site I originally had issues with changing the name was clobbered performing this test. Be careful. Backup.
