Copy link

when I try to install it tells me to install mono and gecko, then opens up the winecfg

run illustrator CC Installation........
scripts/illustratorSetup.sh Found...
-d not define default directory used...
-c not define default directory used...
package wine is installed...
package md5sum is installed...
/home/deck/.illustratorCC17/prefix directory exists deleting it...
create /home/deck/.illustratorCC17/prefix directory...
wine variables exported...
please install mono and gecko packages then click on OK button

but I can't find any information on doing this.

also I'm trying to do this on a steam deck running regular arch based steamos.

I installed them manually.
for mono would be on arch something like
sudo pacman -S mono-complete

and for gecko I just went to the website
https://dl.winehq.org/wine/wine-gecko/2.47/
downloaded the msi and put it to the path -> /usr/share/wine/gecko/
