Hi Greg. I've been playing GT6 on an island-themed MP server these days. One day someone turned on a nuclear breeder reactor which has so much radiation that all people and mobs get radiated everywhere. He ended up sending everyone on the server with a suit of Radiation Hazard suit. I know that it has no problem on single player that just let the radiation leaks. But it seems impractical for MP servers which has players with different progresses. Will there be any in-game content (e.g. chambers) or out-of-game configuration to confine the radiation hazard?

Wait how much range does the radiation of that reactor have?!

Hardworking Greg! I'm the owner of nuclear breeder reactor, specific data is below.

The peak cooling sodium flow of reactor is 1200L/t, and the average may be 600.
600L/t * 30hu/L = 18000hu/t
The number of neutrons is about 18,000/t

Thanks @GregoriusT for your quick responding and @klzw2233 for the actual data.

So let me explain the spreadsheet a bit. It contains the spawn points of each player (a.k.a. where their island base is) in the Overworld dim. The first coord (-678,77,922) is the default spawn point and the third coord (-500,69,-1000) is where that breeder reactor locates. I warped to every coord in that spreadsheet and still cannot get rid of radiation in spite of multiple attempts of suisude.

The breeder reactor is ran for breeding a Naquadah breeder rod. It took almost a day real-time for it to be completed.

It would be better if the range of radiation and exposion can be configured through configs, since it will be difficult to move player's base in server.

I have limited the Range to 200 in that Commit, or 500 whenever it "explodes", which should even give you a buffer zone between two Islands if I read the Coordinates right and if there would hypothetically be reactors on both Islands.

I did NOT expect THAT much of a range from those Rods, imagine I would not have optimized the whole thing and it would freeze your World when trying to find entities that are hit. XD

I only keep this Issue open because I seriously need to start getting the Lead Wall Stuff working. Until then, this horizontal range of 200 should do the trick. ^^
